Marshall Steel Stairs were approached by the main steelwork contractor, SIAC Tetbury Limited, to carry out the design, fabrication and erection of No.12 steel staircases on the above project. The project consists of a new 400,000 Sq. foot building to create the National Rail Centre for Network Rail. The National Centre is being constructed with sustainability in mind and the development has been awarded a BREEAM excellent design stage rating underlining the buildings environmental credentials. The building, once complete, will unite many of the National teams and functions under one roof helping more effective communications in meeting the challenges of delivering a better, more efficient railway for passengers and freight and Marshall Steel Stairs are pleased and proud of their achievement in supplying in excess of 100 flights of stairs on this prestigious project working to a very tight programme and an exemplary health and safety achievement.
