The order placed was for a 6 Tonne Spiral staircase, including support structure. This project presented a particular design challenge as the staircase had to be independent of the main building above first floor level as the building was timber framed and designed to settle. The staircase structure has a roof framework that cantilevered over the main building roof independently.
